DOWSIL™ 734 Flowable Sealant, 310 ml Cartridge, Transparent

DOWSIL™ 734 is a one-component, flowable adhesive and sealant that cures at room temperature through the influence of humidity to form a tough, flexible rubber. 

Suitable Substrates

It achieves adhesion on many substrates without a primer:

  • Glass
  • Metals
  • most common plastics

For maximum adhesion, DOWSIL™ 1200 OS primer is recommended. It does not typically achieve good adhesion on PTFE, polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), and similar materials.

Suitable areas of application

It is suitable for the following main areas of application:

  • Coating of mechanical devices where part of the existing silicone encapsulation has been removed
  • Manufacturing of FIPG seals for compressors, gearboxes and pumps
  • Embedding electrical terminal blocks
