SILCOLAPSE 411 is a 100% active defoaming compound consisting of polydimethylsiloxane oil and colloidally dispersed mineral filler, designed primarily for anhydrous but also aqueous media. Typical applications include the alkanolamine scrubbing of natural gas and refinery gases, distillation, extraction, evaporation, and filtration in the chemical industry, adhesive and glue manufacturing, as an additive for cooling lubricant emulsions, as well as wax and polish production and asphalt logistics. The product is distinguished by its low viscosity (suitable even for automatic dosing systems), effectiveness from approximately 1 to 100 mg per kg of medium, exceptional efficiency in alkaline environments, and chemical inertness towards the medium being defoamed. For industrial applications only; not for use in food, cosmetics, or pharmaceuticals.
