Silcolapse 5020 (ICI)
SILCOLAPSE 5020 is a non-ionic aqueous silicone emulsion with a 20% active ingredient content for preventing, controlling, and eliminating foam in aqueous media. It is used in the chemical industry (detergents and cleaning agents, rubber latex, cooling lubricant formulations, water-based printing inks, adhesive formulations), in the biological stage of water treatment, and in agrochemical formulations such as EC, SC, WG, and WP systems. The emulsion disperses readily in aqueous media, is homogeneous and stable, broadly effective, and chemically inert to the medium being defoamed.
