SILISIL RTV PC-Soft 10 is a 2K addition-cure silicone from the SILISIL Platin-Cast series. Due to its platinum-based crosslinking, the system is highly transparent, residue-free, and particularly suitable for applications requiring optical clarity, close skin contact, or food-grade-like properties..
The Shore A hardness of 10 positions the product in the range of very soft silicones (skin simulation, gel molding, podiatry).

Processing and Mixing

- Before processing, stir both components individually and then mix thoroughly in the specified ratio
- Degassing under vacuum (30–50 mbar) eliminates air inclusions and improves surface quality
- Processing ideally at 23 °C and 40–60 % relative humidity
- Contamination by sulfur, amines, tin catalysts, or PVC must be avoided in platinum-crosslinked systems — they prevent curing
Storage and Shelf Life
- Store in unopened original container at 5–25 °C, dry and protected from direct sunlight
- Shelf life from the manufacturing date specified in the TDS — typically 12–24 months
- After opening, reseal carefully
