Two-component addition silicone for the production of printing pads (pad printing), the only type in the series with antistatic properties.
BLUESIL RTV 3132 A and B is a two-component silicone elastomer that cures at room temperature via an addition reaction (platinum). Curing can be accelerated by heat. The product is specifically formulated for the production of printing pads. It is processed in a mixing ratio of A to B of 10:1. Due to the short processing time, TDS recommends mixing and dispensing using a static mixer.
According to TDS, BLUESIL RTV 3132 is the only type within the RTV 3130 to 3132 series with antistatic behavior (Antistatic behavior: YES). The other types in the series are not antistatic.

Important Notes
- Addition crosslinking is sensitive to inhibition: Sulfur and sulfur compounds, ammonia and amines, chlorides, metal salt-catalyzed condensation RTV, PVC stabilizers, and silver salts can interfere with curing. If in doubt, perform a preliminary test with a small quantity and use only dedicated, clean tools.
- Store in the original container at temperatures between -5 °C and +30 °C. RTV 3132 A and B can be stored for up to 6 months from the date of manufacture, which is shorter than the other series types with a shelf life of 12 months.
- The currently valid Elkem data sheet (TDS and SDS) is authoritative, which we will be happy to send you.
