Bluesil Diluant 2030: Low-viscosity Bluesil thinner for adjusting the viscosity of Bluesil RTV systems — without loss of the mechanical end properties of the cured silicone. Main applications: Bluesil RTV dilution, complex mold geometries, pad printing optimization.
Thinners are used to adjust the mixture viscosity — when the RTV mixture is too viscous for the geometry. Typically 5–10 % thinner based on RTV. Higher dosages (up to 40 %) are possible, but they affect the final hardness. Important: stir the thinner into Part A before adding the catalyst.
Store in the unopened original container in a dry, cool place — typically standard between +5 and +30 °C, exact values see TDS. Consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use. Observe the expiration date on the packaging — Elkem guarantees the sales specifications only up to the stated date.
