Bluesil CATA 24 H: Standard tin catalyst for the Bluesil RTV condensation series (3221, 3318, 3325, 3450) with a 24-hour demolding time — odorless, proven in lost-wax and decoration casting. Main applications: lost-wax molds, decoration reproduction, model-making molds.
Standard dosage is 5 parts catalyst per 100 parts RTV base (5% w/w). The exact dosage affects the pot life and demolding time — see the TDS for the exact values. Important: too little catalyst leads to incomplete crosslinking, too much catalyst dramatically shortens the pot life and can impair the final properties. Stir both components thoroughly before mixing.
Store in the unopened original container in a dry, cool place — typically standard between +5 and +30 °C, exact values see TDS. Consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use. Observe the expiration date on the packaging — Elkem guarantees the sales specifications only up to the stated date.
