Permabond ET514 is a high-strength 2K epoxy in a 1:1 volume ratio — developed for demanding industrial bonding applications with high strength requirements on metal and composite materials.
With a pot life of 30–50 minutes, ET514 offers sufficient time for component alignment before curing to a high-strength, permanent bond. Its steel shear strength of 20–30 N/mm² is among the best of 2-component epoxies.
On carbon fiber composites, ET514 achieves a bond strength of 17–21 N/mm² — suitable for CFRP structural bonding in mechanical engineering and sporting goods construction. Its simple 1:1 application allows for use in dual cartridges.

Mix both components in a 1:1 ratio by volume — use the mixing nozzle for dual cartridges, weigh precisely for larger containers. Apply within the pot life (30–50 minutes @ 23 °C) and join components. Full curing typically occurs after 24 hours at room temperature.
The pot life of Permabond ET514 is typically 30–50 minutes at 23 °C. Higher temperatures shorten, lower temperatures lengthen the pot life. Mixtures above approximately 100 g may gel more quickly due to an exothermic reaction.
