SILISIL Silicone Oil 300 cSt
SILISIL Silicone Oil 300 cSt — PDMS for higher lubrication loads and stable release films, from Swiss stock.
PDMS for higher lubrication loads and stable release films
HS Code:
39100000
SILISIL Silicone Oil 300 cSt is PDMS for higher lubrication loads and stable release films.
SILISIL Silicone Oils are high-purity linear polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) liquids with a purity of 100%. Their viscosity of 300 cSt defines their range of applications — from lubrication and release agents to hydraulic functions and specialized care and industrial applications.
300 cSt is an intermediate viscosity for applications between 200 and 500 cSt — higher load than standard lubricating oils, but still fluid enough for pump and spray application.

Frequently asked questions about SILISIL Silicone Oil 300 cSt
Practical application and design questions — answered by SILITECH.
SILISIL Silicone Oil 300 cSt: PDMS for higher lubrication loads and stable release films. Main applications are industrial lubrication, hydraulic damping, and long-term stable release agents.
PDMS (polydimethylsiloxane) is a linear silicone fluid that combines high thermal stability, low surface tension, very good dielectric properties, and broad temperature resistance. The viscosity (measured in centistokes, cSt) determines the field of application — low viscosities are suitable for volatile applications and lubrication, high viscosities for damping and conditioners.
SILISIL Silicone Oils are soluble in aromatic, aliphatic, and chlorinated solvents (e.g., toluene, xylene, hexane, diesel). They are not miscible with water and alcohols. For anti-foam applications, high-viscosity PDMS is diluted in hydrocarbon solvents and introduced using a dosing pump.
Store in the unopened original container at room temperature (ideally below 60 °C). Avoid eye contact. SILISIL Silicone Oils are generally non-toxic, odorless, and tasteless — nevertheless, consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS), which is available in the "Documents" tab.
The viscosity determines the application. 300 cSt is optimal for industrial lubrication and similar application profiles. For other application characteristics, you will find related viscosities in the comparison table above — if you are unsure, we will be happy to advise you on your specific application.
