About Acrystal
Acrystal is a two-component, water-based casting and coating system: liquid acrylic resin is mixed with mineral powder and cures without solvents. The material is used for sculptures and reproductions in art, for architectural models, design objects, model making and prototyping, as well as for the production of technical parts. It precisely reproduces details, produces hard, sandable and polishable surfaces, and can be colored, patinated, and laminated with fiberglass.
For many applications, Acrystal is an alternative to solvent-based casting resins, especially in studios, workshops, and interior spaces.
