Industrial lubricants.
Lubricants for manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance: anti-seize pastes, greases and oils, forming and forging lubricants, die coatings, and maintenance sprays. Selection depends on temperature, load, material pairing, and residue behavior. SILITECH provides technical support, data sheets, and delivery from our Gümligen warehouse.
range
Our product groups
Anti-seize lubricant
Assembly pastes for screw connections and fits: against seizing, cold welding and corrosion at high temperatures.
Petroleum-based fats
Mineral oil-based greases for bearings, guides and maintenance. Selection based on temperature, load and speed.
Forging lubricants for ferrous metals
Graphite-containing and graphite-free forging lubricants for the hot forming of steel, such as Bonderite L-FG.
Lubricants for metal forming
Forming lubricants for stamping, bending, and deep drawing. Selection based on material, degree of deformation, and downstream cleaning.
Lubricants for casting processes
Mold coatings for die casting and gravity die casting, water- or graphite-based, tailored to casting temperature and surface finish.
Special oils and lubricants
Lubricating oils and specialty lubricants for machine components. Selection based on viscosity, temperature, and media contact.
Synthetic lubricants
Synthetic oils and greases for high and low temperatures and long relubrication intervals. Operating limits as per data sheet.
Lubricating & Maintenance Sprays
Sprays for maintenance, assembly, and repair. The active ingredient and residue behavior determine the selection.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Bonderite (formerly Acheson/DAG)?
Bonderite is Henkel's brand for industrial lubricants, cleaners, and surface treatment products. The former brands Acheson and DAG have been integrated into it. Within the series, L-FG stands for forging lubricants, L-CA for die coatings, L-GP for general-purpose lubricants, and M-NT for surface pretreatment. SILITECH assists in mapping former Acheson and DAG designations to current Bonderite products.
Which lubricant is suitable for aluminum die casting?
For aluminum die casting, Bonderite L-CA series mold coatings, either water-based or graphite-based, are generally suitable. The initial selection depends on casting temperature, mold complexity, cycle time, and surface finish requirements. Final suitability is determined by testing in an actual casting process. Describe your application to us, and we will review suitable products based on the technical data sheets.
