More than 25 years of specialty chemicals
What began in 2000 as a management buyout is today a specialized Swiss distributor and technical solutions partner for silicones, adhesives and sealants, casting resins, and chemical-technical products. Our approach is characterized by long-standing supplier relationships, technical consulting, and the commitment to finding the right material for specific applications: with data sheets as a basis for decision-making and reliable processing from our warehouse in Gümligen.

Our path
Founding
Management buyout of Shell Aseol CT division. Headquartered in Bern, the company's product range focuses on specialized chemical-technical products for industry and commerce. Elkem silicones and Acrystal have been part of the portfolio from the outset.
New brands in the product range
SILITECH has added the Henkel brands Loctite, Teroson, and Bonderite to its product range. This allows SILITECH to build a broad portfolio of industrial adhesives for Swiss industry, from threadlockers to structural adhesives.
Moving to Gümligen
SILITECH is moving to its current location at Worbstrasse 173 in Gümligen near Bern, with its own warehouse, its own bottling station and good transport connections in the greater Bern area.
Expansion of the product range
Inclusion of Permabond, CRC and other specialty brands, expansion of the Elkem (Bluesil) product range. Entry into new markets: automotive, electronics and medical technology. Development of customer-specific services such as repackaging into smaller containers, technical consulting and sample shipping.
Sustainability and modernization
Implementation of environmentally conscious processes in recycling, packaging, and transport logistics. Expansion of cooperation with brands such as Zhermack and Acrystal. Modernization of the digital infrastructure.
Launch of private label brands
Rebranding and market launch of own product lines under the brands SILISIL (silicones, release agents, sprays) and SILIRESIN (casting systems).
ISO 9001 Certification
Successful ISO 9001 certification. Membership in Kunststoff.swiss. Consistent quality assurance throughout the entire value chain, from goods receipt to delivery.
New leadership, clear vision
As part of a management buyout, Florian Liechti takes over the management of SILITECH AG as CEO. Modernization of the online presence and expansion of the sales team for western Switzerland and the French border region.
Today and tomorrow
Over 2,000 items in stock in Gümligen, customers throughout Switzerland and beyond, a growing team, and the ambition to simplify material selection, documentation, and procurement for our customers. The story continues.
