SILBIONE RTV 4410 QC is a very soft (Shore A 11), fast-curing 2K silicone (1:1) for special-effect skins and applications with repetitive movement.

It belongs to Elkem's Silbione series. After mixing the two low-viscosity components, it cures quickly at room temperature to form a very soft, stretchable elastomer. According to the Elkem data sheet, it is also suitable for skin contact applications.

Mix
Mix parts A and B in equal parts (1:1), preferably using a dosing and mixing system for consistent results.

Work cleanly
Use only clean molds and tools; avoid contact with amines, metal salts, sulfur, epoxy catalysts and latex gloves (inhibition).

Curing
Hardens at room temperature, can be accelerated by heat.

Important instructions

  • Addition crosslinking is sensitive to inhibition: avoid amines, metal salts, sulfur, epoxy catalysts and latex gloves.
  • Storage: 24°C, 6 months. The current Elkem data sheet (TDS and SDS) is authoritative; we will gladly send it to you.
