The premium version uses highly purified PDMS and avoids aggressive hydrocarbon solvents that can attack sensitive plastics (polycarbonate, ABS, polystyrene) or elastomers (EPDM, NBR, silicone). This makes it safe for use with components made of these materials — typically in sensors, connectors, optical components, sealing elastomers, and injection molding parting lines.
No. Silicone sprays leave a water-repellent silicone film that prevents paints, adhesives, and coatings from adhering. Do not use on surfaces that will later be painted or covered with adhesive film—or clean thoroughly beforehand with SILISIL Silicone Remover.
Store the aerosol can below +50 °C, protect from direct sunlight, and keep away from ignition sources. Do not forcibly open or incinerate pressurized containers, even after use. Shelf life in the unopened original container is according to SDS; please note the printed expiration date.
