About SILISIL
SILISIL is SILITECH's own silicone brand: a broad program of addition-curing and condensation-curing RTV-2 silicones for medical and special effects applications, model and mold making, casting and pad printing applications, as well as silicone pastes and sprays. Over 100 products, ranging from soft skin and gel silicones to high-strength mold silicones. Suitability for applications involving skin contact is product-specific and is documented in the technical documentation. Shore hardness, viscosity, tear strength, pot life, and curing determine which type is suitable: we assist with the selection, provide TDS and SDS as a basis for decision-making, and, upon request, evaluate alternatives from the rest of the product range.

Seven product lines cover the typical applications: skin contact applications, mold making and molding, condensation-cure and platinum-cure systems, casting silicones, lubricating and releasing, as well as coordinated accessories for 2K processing.
Medical & SFX (MD-Series)
Skin & Prosthetics
Skin and prosthetic silicones for medical, special effects, and podiatry: MD-Skin, MD-Soft, MD-Gel, and MD-Podo, in graduated softness levels. Suitability for skin contact is documented per product.
Mold & Casting Silicones (MF Series)
Mold Making
MF-Dura, MF-Flex, MF-Soft, MF-Ultra and MF-Spray: RTV-2 silicones for model, mold and tool making. Selection based on Shore hardness, viscosity, tear strength and pot life.
Condensation-curing silicones (PC series)
Mold & Model Making
PC-Soft, PC-Flex, PC-Dura and PC-Putty: pourable, room-temperature vulcanizing RTV-2 silicones based on polycondensation. For mold and model making, series and prototype parts, with matched PC-Curing Agents.
Platinum Systems (PP Series)
Platinum-catalyzed
PP-Soft, PP-Flex, PP-AntiStatic, PP-Dura and PP-Ultra: addition-curing RTV-2 silicones with platinum catalyst in graduated Shore hardnesses. Depending on the type, use ranges from soft molding to pad printing; suitability per product is documented in the TDS.
Professional Casting (PRO Series)
Casting Applications
PRO-Cast 33, 45 and 50: addition-curing RTV-2 casting silicones with high tear and tensile strength and precise detail reproduction. For casting molds, e.g., for polyurethane and acrylic resins, and reproductions in art, model making, and design.
Pastes & Sprays
Assembly & Protection
SILISIL Paste 4, Paste MR7 and Premium Silicone Spray: lubricating, releasing and protecting during assembly and maintenance, e.g., on seals, O-rings and fittings.

PC-Curing Agents, Delayer, and dispensing guns, matched to the SILISIL systems: for correct mixing ratio, controllable pot life, and clean processing.

Are the products available from stock?
A large part of the SILISIL range is usually available at short notice from our Gümligen warehouse. We will confirm the specific availability and delivery time after order review.
Do I receive advice on product selection?
Yes. Describe the application, mold object, or component to us: We will recommend suitable SILISIL types based on Shore hardness, viscosity, pot life, and curing, and provide the technical data sheets as a basis for decision-making. Suitability should be tested in the actual process.
Are technical data sheets and safety data sheets (SDS) available?
Yes. We provide technical data sheets (TDS) and safety data sheets (SDS) upon request, and if desired, even before ordering for review and material qualification.
Are customer-specific containers or formulations possible?
Depending on the product and quantity, customized container sizes are possible. Whether an adjustment of the formulation is feasible, we will clarify based on the application and required quantity.
