Permabond adhesion promoter primers prepare critical substrates (polyolefins, silicone, PTFE, or metals) for bonding with Permabond adhesives. The 2-component primer kit is tailored to specific applications—the key properties and areas of use are listed below.

Permabond primers are used on substrates that do not adhere sufficiently with standard adhesives: POP primer for polyolefins (PP, PE), PTFE and silicone (otherwise no CA adhesion is possible); 2-component primer kit as a universal primer for demanding metal, glass or composite bonding — significantly improves adhesion, acts as corrosion protection and shows with the wettability indicator whether the substrate is ready for bonding.
Store in the unopened original container in a dry, cool place — Permabond adhesives typically between +5 and +25 °C, see TDS for exact values. Consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use. Observe the expiry date on the packaging. Store cyanoacrylates in a cool place (ideally refrigerated) for maximum shelf life.
