Special Features
The special formulation of Acrystal® Prima ensures good surface hardness with reduced brittleness. Molded parts made of Acrystal® can be demolded and machined after just 40–90 minutes. With Acrystal® Prima, cost-effective molds can be produced quickly and precisely. The surface can be made glossy and weather-resistant by applying a coat of Acrystal® Finition. Acrystal® Prima adheres very well to Styrofoam and other rigid foams, allowing the production of lightweight and transportable elements. By incorporating a few layers of Acrystal® Quadraxial fabric, compression-resistant, walkable surfaces are achieved.
Processing
- Mixing: Stir powder "Basic Crystal" into the liquid "Acrystal Prima" (Mixing ratio: 1 part resin to 2.5 parts powder).
