Casting resins for components, electronics and design

Casting resins are used to create models, prototypes, and finished components. As potting materials, they protect electronic components. We supply epoxy and polyurethane systems, optical clear resins, and Acrystal for design applications.

Technical components and models

Depending on the resin system, hard, flexible, or transparent castings are produced. In addition to the properties after curing, the available processing time and the size of the casting are important factors. Under the SILIRESIN brand, we offer Biothan resins with the corresponding Biodur hardeners.

Potting electronics

Electrical casting resins encapsulate components and perform functions such as insulation and protection against moisture. The required properties depend on the assembly and its environment. We advise on material selection and processing.

Art and Design

Clear resins are available for transparent objects. Acrystal combines a water-based acrylic resin component with mineral powder and can be cast, coated, or reinforced. Pigments and accessories complete the product range.
