Processing & dosing technology.

The best material only works when it is correctly dosed, mixed, and cured. Cartridge, static mixer, dispensing device, and curing form a coordinated system for reproducible results.

Overview

Basics

Two-component adhesives and potting compounds only cure completely when they are dispensed in the correct ratio, mixed homogeneously, and cured properly. The double cartridge keeps the components separate, and the static mixer blends them without moving parts solely through the extrusion pressure. Manual and pneumatic tools apply the material, and for small quantities, syringe dispensing is available. Light-curing adhesives additionally require the correct light dose, often from a curing chamber. Cartridge, mixer, device, and ratio must be compatible; the technical data sheet is authoritative.

Products & Brands

Dispensing devices from the Sulzer Mixpac DM2X and DP series, static mixers in helix and quadro designs, cartridges and connectors, syringe dispensing, and UV curing chambers: the right equipment for reproducible processing of 2K materials is available directly in the shop. Technical data sheets are provided as a basis for decision-making.

Areas of application

For which industry?

Dosing and mixing technology is used wherever 2K materials are processed, including in these industries.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Why is the mixing ratio so important?

In 2K systems, both components react in a fixed ratio. If this ratio is incorrect, a portion remains uncrosslinked and curing is incomplete. The specification in the data sheet is decisive.

Helix or Quadro Static Mixer?

Helix mixers are proven all-rounders, while Quadro mixers often achieve mixing in a shorter length and save waste. The decisive factors are ratio, viscosity, and mixing quality; see the data sheet.

Hand or pneumatic dispensing?

Handheld devices are suitable for individual pieces and small series, while pneumatic devices are suitable for uniform dispensing at higher frequencies. For small, precisely reproducible quantities, syringe dispensing is recommended.
