Acrystal Fiberglass 200-4D – Quadriaxial Fabric for High-Quality Laminations
The Acrystal Glasfaser 200-4D is a specially developed, knitted quadriaxial fiberglass fabric with a weight of 200 g/m², characterized by its excellent mechanical load capacity and easy processing. It is optimally suited for lamination processes with Acrystal products and offers an excellent performance-to-weight ratio.
Thanks to its structure, the fabric absorbs mechanical loads particularly well and can be easily deformed in three dimensions. This makes it ideal for producing lightweight laminated panels, stiffening polystyrene foam objects, or other complex shapes. Its high air permeability enables effective lamination with Acrystal, while the low labor input and reduced fiber requirement ensure economical processing.

Suitable materials
Typical application areas

Processing instructions
- Apply a layer of Acrystal with a brush or spatula.
- After drying (satinized, no longer tacky), apply another Acrystal layer and lay in the fiberglass fabric.
- If necessary, repeat the process and finish with a final layer of Acrystal.
- For stiffer panels, increase the material thickness between the layers.
- Recommended quantity: 1–2 layers = 200–400 g/m²
