Dry lubricant based on colloidal graphite in isopropanol. Air-drying, adhesive on most substrates, operating temperature up to 200 °C. Also applicable as a conductive coating on plastics.

BONDERITE L-GP 154 ACHESON – Graphite dry lubricant
Specially processed colloidal graphite dispersion in isopropanol. The dry film dries quickly at room temperature (dust-dry after 5 minutes, load-bearing after 30 minutes) and adheres to most substrates with minimal surface preparation. The thin, lubricious film (typically 5–12 µm) lubricates cleanly and durably without altering component geometry.
Additionally applicable as a conductive resistance coating on non-conductive substrates (including most plastics): sheet resistance < 2'400 Ohm/sq at 25 µm dry film.
- Coefficient of friction (static): 0.19 · Operating temperature up to 200 °C
- Processing: Spraying, brushing, dipping, rolling (dilution with isopropanol)
- Optimal curing: 5 min at 75 °C after flash-off
- Coverage: approx. 9.3 m²/kg at 25 µm · Solids content approx. 20%
- Storage: 10–30 °C, protect from frost · Shelf life 24 months unopened
Typical Applications: Anti-seize thread lubrication, gaskets (automotive/industrial), run-in and assembly lubrication of engine and machine components, low-noise cables, conductive/antistatic coatings in electronics, impregnation of fibers and paper.
