Glass fiber chips 3 mm (3 kg)
Fiberglass chips are stirred into polyester and epoxy resins to increase the strength of molded parts.
Properties and application notes:
Increases tensile, compressive, and flexural strength;
mixture remains fluid;
strengthens adhesive joints/beads;
creates molding compounds
; asbestos replacement;
in combination with cotton flock (HP-BF1) for coupling layers in mold making.
Stirred into polyester and epoxy resins, they increase the strength of the molded part while maintaining fluidity. Fiberglass chips can be used alone or with cotton flock. Resins reinforced with fiberglass chips exhibit high tensile, compressive, and flexural strengths.
3 mm fiberglass chips (3 kg) are a PU casting resin. Available in 5-liter containers.
