LOCTITE® SF 7061™ – High-performance solvent-based cleaner for surface pretreatment

LOCTITE® SF 7061™ is a solvent-based, CFC-free cleaner specifically developed for cleaning and degreasing surfaces prior to the application of LOCTITE® adhesives. It effectively removes greases, oils, lubricants, metal shavings, and fine particles from surfaces to ensure optimal adhesion and curing of the adhesives. The cleaner is based on acetone and alcohol and leaves no corrosive residues.

Application Instructions:

• Cleaning: Spray the surfaces generously with LOCTITE® SF 7061™.
• Wipe off: Wipe still-moist surfaces with a clean cloth to remove dirt and excess solvent.
• Re-spray: For thorough cleaning, spray again, preferably in a vertical position to allow the cleaner to run off.
• Allow to flash off: Before applying the adhesive, allow to dry completely to avoid air entrapment.
• Bonding: Apply the adhesive immediately to the clean surface and join the parts.
