SILISIL PC Curing Agent PU — PC Curing Agent

SILISIL PC-Curing Agent PU is the hardener component of the SILISIL Platin-Cast 2K system. The different curing agent variants (Standard, PU, ​​NF) are tailored to different base components and processing conditions.

Product Advantages

Processing and Mixing

  • For the exact mixing ratio, pot life, and demolding time, please refer to the technical data sheet (TDS) on this product page
  • Before processing, stir both components individually and then mix thoroughly in the specified ratio
  • Degassing under vacuum (30–50 mbar) eliminates air inclusions and improves surface quality
  • Processing ideally at 23 °C and 40–60 % relative humidity
  • Contamination by sulfur, amines, tin catalysts, or PVC must be avoided in platinum-crosslinked systems — they prevent curing

Storage and Shelf Life

  • Store in unopened original container at 5–25 °C, dry and protected from direct sunlight
  • Shelf life from the manufacturing date specified in the TDS — typically 12–24 months
  • After opening, reseal carefully
