SILISIL ZCX 15-3 BASE is the base component of a condensation-curing, two-component silicone that vulcanizes at room temperature. The system is characterized by a low Shore A hardness of approximately 14, high tensile strength, and minimal dimensional change. It is not inhibited by common materials such as gypsum, clay, or cement. It is designed for industrial applications requiring high mechanical resistance. Apply on clean, dry, dust-free surfaces at room temperature. Homogenize both components before use and weigh and mix the base and catalyst precisely in a 10:1 ratio.

Processing and Mixing
- For the exact mixing ratio, pot life, and demolding time, please refer to the technical data sheet (TDS) on this product page
- Before processing, stir both components individually and then mix thoroughly in the specified ratio
- Degassing under vacuum (30–50 mbar) eliminates air inclusions and improves surface quality
- Processing ideally at 23 °C and 40–60 % relative humidity
- Contamination by sulfur, amines, tin catalysts, or PVC must be avoided in platinum-crosslinked systems — they prevent curing
Storage and Shelf Life
- Store in unopened original container at 5–25 °C, dry and protected from direct sunlight
- Shelf life from the manufacturing date specified in the TDS — typically 12–24 months
- After opening, reseal carefully
