The system offers a low Shore A hardness of approximately 14, high tear strength, and low dimensional change, and is not inhibited by plaster, clay, or cement. The catalyst is weighed into the base exactly in a 10:1 ratio (base to catalyst); homogenize both components before use and process on clean, dry surfaces at room temperature.

Processing and Mixing

- Before processing, stir both components individually and then mix thoroughly in the specified ratio
- Degassing under vacuum (30–50 mbar) eliminates air inclusions and improves surface quality
- Processing ideally at 23 °C and 40–60 % relative humidity
- Contamination by sulfur, amines, tin catalysts, or PVC must be avoided in platinum-crosslinked systems — they prevent curing
Storage and Shelf Life
- Store in unopened original container at 5–25 °C, dry and protected from direct sunlight
- Shelf life from the manufacturing date specified in the TDS — typically 12–24 months
