Product description:

TEROSON SB 450 is an alcohol-based, one-component cleaning solution for the professional surface treatment of metals, plastics, and painted materials. The product was specifically developed for cleaning non-absorbent substrates and simultaneously improves the adhesion of elastic adhesives and sealants to critical materials.

Thanks to its thin, clear formula and pleasant alcoholic odor, TEROSON SB 450 is easy and even to apply. A special feature is the integrated UV indicator, which allows the application to be checked under UV light (380 nm) if necessary – ideal for quality and process reliability in industrial environments.

Application is quick and easy using a clean cloth or paper. Due to its properties, TEROSON SB 450 is ideally suited for pretreatment before bonding or sealing in vehicle construction, mechanical engineering, plastics processing, or in the trades.

Product properties:

• Alcoholic cleaning solution for non-absorbent surfaces

• 1-component, thin, colorless and clear

• Contains adhesion-promoting substances

• With UV indicator for order control

• Evaporation time: 10–60 minutes (depending on conditions)

• Density: approx. 0.8 g/cm³

• Free from frost sensitivity

• Can be stored for up to 12 months at 10–25 °C

Suitable materials:

• Metallic surfaces

• Plastics (after suitability test)

• Painted surfaces.
  Not suitable for: Absorbent or porous materials without prior testing.

Processing instructions:

1. Read the safety data sheet before use.

2. Moisten the surface evenly with a clean cloth or paper.

3. Replace heavily soiled cloths immediately.

4. Seal the product airtight after use – cloudiness caused by air or moisture impairs its effectiveness.

5. Drying time 10 to 60 minutes under standard climate conditions (23 °C, 50% RH).

6. Immediately absorb splashes with absorbent material.
