Defense and security systems in operation are exposed to shock and continuous vibration, moisture, salt spray, fuels, and cleaning media, as well as wide temperature ranges. In addition, long storage and service life must be considered: connections, potting, and lubrication points must remain stable for years, often without the possibility of rework. Typical applications include vibration-stressed bonding and sealing on housings and assemblies, potting of electronics and sensors against moisture and shock, as well as lubrication of moving mechanisms. Relevant selection criteria include temperature range, media contact, mechanical stress, aging behavior, and processing in the manufacturing process, each based on technical data sheets. For qualification and acceptance, we provide support with TDS, SDS, and, upon request, batch traceability, and recommend suitability testing on the original substrate and in the real process.
