Conductive Coatings (EDAG)

Conductive coatings (EDAG). EMC shielding and electronics

EDAG coatings are electrically and thermally conductive lacquers based on silver, copper, or graphite. They are used in electronics manufacturing for EMC shielding, grounding, printed circuit board repair, and the production of conductive structures.

Typical Applications

  • EMC shielding: Housing coating for electronic devices
  • Conductive traces: printed conductive structures, also on flexible substrates
  • Repair: Restoring broken circuit traces
  • Heating conductors: Surface heating systems based on conductive coatings

What matters when selecting

The achievable conductivity depends on the product, layer thickness, drying process, and application. The substrate and adhesion, the application method, and the required durability are also relevant. Specific electrical values can be found in the technical data sheet of the respective product.

EDAG products are generally available for immediate delivery from our Gümligen warehouse. Tell us about the substrate, function, and process: We will examine suitable types and alternatives. Request technical advice now.
