Acrystal Glass Fiber 200-4D – Quadriaxial fabric for high-quality laminations
Acrystal 200-4D fiberglass is a specially developed, knitted quadriaxial fiberglass fabric with a basis weight of 200 g/m², characterized by its excellent mechanical strength and ease of processing. It is ideally suited for lamination processes with Acrystal products and offers an outstanding performance-to-weight ratio.
Thanks to its structure, the fabric absorbs mechanical loads exceptionally well and can be easily deformed in three dimensions. This makes it ideal for the production of lightweight laminated panels, the stiffening of polystyrene foam objects, or other complex shapes. Its high air permeability enables effective lamination with Acrystal, while the low labor requirements and reduced fiber consumption ensure economical processing.

Processing instructions
- Apply a layer of Acrystal using a brush or spatula.
- After it has partially dried (satin finish, no longer sticky), apply another layer of Acrystal and insert the fiberglass fabric.
- Repeat the process if necessary and finish with a final layer of Acrystal.
- For sturdier panels, increase the material thickness between the layers.
- Recommended quantity: 1–2 layers = 200–400 g/m²
