SILIRESIN Biodur M 330 Optical is the transparent hardener component (aliphatic polyisocyanate, HDI-biuret type) for SILIRESIN's optical Biothan-2 clear resin systems. In combination with Biothan-2-MD casting resins, hard, transparent encapsulations and castings are produced; the mixing ratio depends on the respective resin according to its data sheet and controls the final hardness of the system. Weigh the hardener before the resin component, mix intensively, and allow air to escape; store dry, as the isocyanate is sensitive to moisture.
