BLUESIL Fluid 47 V 50 is a linear polydimethylsiloxane oil from the 47 series. It serves as a thermostatic medium from -50 to +200 °C, as a dielectric medium, as a thinner and plasticizer for RTV silicones and sealants, as a lubricant and heat protection agent for textile yarns, as an additive in paints and varnishes against craters and scratches, and for the hydrophobization of powders and fibers. The oil offers very good thermal and oxidation resistance, good dielectric properties, low surface tension, high shear stability, and low viscosity variation over temperature.

Bluesil FLD 47V50 is a linear polydimethylsiloxane with a viscosity of 50 mm²/s — proven as a hydraulic fluid for low temperatures, a dielectric medium for capacitor paper impregnation, and as a thinner for Bluesil RTV systems.
