BLUESIL TAP Grease
Lubricating paste for industry and laboratory use for lubricating taps and valves at extreme temperatures or in contact with water and corrosive chemicals, also as an anti-seize paste and for O-ring assembly.
BLUESIL TAP Grease is a polydimethylsiloxane-based silicone paste with inert fillers for the industrial lubrication of taps, valves, and fittings operating at very high or low temperatures, in water, or with corrosive chemicals. Applications include anti-seize protection of metal fittings and laboratory glassware joints, lubrication of slow-moving mechanisms in humid or corrosive environments, O-ring assembly, and protection of moving parts from splashing water. The paste is highly water-repellent and wash-resistant, viscosity-stable across a wide temperature range, extremely temperature resistant, chemically inert to metals, rubber, and plastics, and solvent-resistant.

Frequently asked questions about TAP Grease
Practical application and design questions — answered by SILITECH.
Bluesil TAP Grease: Special silicone grease for faucets, valves, and sanitary fittings — odorless, resistant to drinking water, highly durable. Main applications: faucets, sanitary valves, mixer taps.
Prepare the surfaces to be lubricated clean, dry, and degreased. Silicone grease is not compatible with mineral greases — carefully remove any old mineral grease beforehand. Apply with a brush, spatula, or grease gun. Important: Silicone greases must not be used for lubricating oxygen systems (explosion hazard).
Store in the unopened original container in a dry, cool place — typically standard between +5 and +30 °C, exact values see TDS. Consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use. Observe the expiration date on the packaging — Elkem guarantees the sales specifications only up to the stated date.
