Forging release agents are applied to the hot forging tool — at tool temperature, they form a lubricating film of micro-fine graphite (or synthetic lubricants in graphite-free variants such as F 605). They reduce friction between the workpiece and the die, extend tool service life, and enable higher dilution ratios. Bonderite L-FG 31 + F 31 (Deltaforge) are the most widely used standards worldwide.
Store in the unopened original container in a dry, cool place — typically between +5 and +40 °C, exact values see TDS. Protect water-based products from frost.
