CAF 4
Industrial sealing, bonding and coating: Bonding of plastics in aviation, electrical insulation, coating of fabrics for heat protection, coating of conveyor belts.
Elkem's CAF 4 is a self-leveling, off-white, one-component, acetic acid-curing silicone rubber. It is used for sealing, bonding, and coating in industrial applications, including bonding plastics in the aerospace industry, electrical insulation, and coating fabrics for thermal insulation and conveyor belts. CAF 4 cures rapidly and offers excellent mechanical properties, good heat resistance, and high dielectric performance, even when joining materials subjected to different thermal stresses.
