ELKEM CAF 731 is a neutral-curing (alkoxy) one-component silicone rubber. It is non-sagging, white, and self-adhesive without a primer. It is used for elastic bonding and sealing between materials with different coefficients of thermal expansion, such as glass, metal, and plastic. Applications include aerospace, the protection of electronic components, and repair and maintenance. Its chemical neutrality prevents oxidation on metals like copper. The product is low-odor, adheres excellently to many substrates, and offers good thermal resistance and mechanical properties.
