Product Description

TEROSON MS 935 is a high-quality, 1-component adhesive and sealant based on silane-modified polymers (SMP), characterized by high initial tack, very good UV resistance, and a broad range of applications in industry, vehicle construction, and trade. The product cures with atmospheric moisture to form a permanently elastic bond and is ideal for elastic bonding as well as seam and joint sealing in interior and exterior applications.

TEROSON MS 935 is free of solvents, silicones, PVC, and isocyanates and offers excellent adhesion to many substrates. Its high sag resistance ensures a stable bond immediately after joining, often eliminating the need for additional fixation. Thanks to its good overpaintability with common 1K and 2K systems, TEROSON MS 935 is ideal for visible applications.

Product properties:

  • 1-component SMP adhesive/sealant

  • Sprayable, thixotropic, and high-viscosity

  • Cures through exposure to moisture

  • Through cure: approx. 3 mm/24 h

  • Shore-A hardness: approx. 50

  • Tensile strength: 2.8 MPa

  • Elongation at break: approx. 230 %

  • Temperature resistance: -40 °C to +100 °C (short-term up to 120 °C)

  • Free of silicone, isocyanate, PVC, and solvents

  • Very good UV and aging resistance

  • Paint-compatible with suitable systems

Suitable materials:

  • Metals (e.g., steel, aluminum)

  • Plastics (e.g., ABS, GRP – check suitability)

  • Painted surfaces

  • Wood, ceramics, and other solid substrates (after preliminary testing)

Typical application areas:

  • Vehicle and body construction

  • Shipbuilding (e.g., bonding boat deck plates to steel floors)

  • Railway wagon and container construction

  • Photovoltaics Industry

  • HVAC and electrical engineering

  • Metal and apparatus construction

  • Sealing of seams and joints inside and outside

Processing instructions:

  1. The substrate must be clean, dry, and free of grease.

  2. Depending on the material, mechanical abrasion or a primer may be required.

  3. Application at 5–40 °C with manual or pneumatic caulking gun (2–5 bar).

  4. If necessary, temper before application (to reduce viscosity).

  5. Clean uncured residues with Teroson A, D, or FL.

  6. Overpaintable wet-on-wet with 1K-/2K systems – own tests recommended.
