PERMABOND MH052
Anaerobic thread sealant for pipe threads, 1K; for sealing pipe and threaded connections against gas, water, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and hydrocarbons.
Breakaway torque 20 N·m, tightening torque 11 N·m (M10 steel). Threads up to M56, gaps up to 0.5 mm. Gaseous oxygen up to 10 bar and 60 °C, natural gas and LPG up to 20 bar, WRAS (drinking water), DVGW and BAM approved.
According to the manufacturer, PERMABOND MH052 is an anaerobic thread sealant for pipe and fitting threads. The current manufacturer's data sheet specifies a working pressure of up to 20 bar for natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). Please check the suitability for your connection using the data sheet.

Manufacturer's technical specifications
- Natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas: Working pressure up to 20 bar.
- Gaseous oxygen: up to 10 bar at 60 °C under the conditions specified in the data sheet.
- Maximum thread size M56 and maximum gap filling 0.5 mm.
- Guideline values for M10 steel at 23 °C: Handling strength after 15 minutes, functional strength after 1 to 3 hours and full strength after 24 hours.
These values are manufacturer's guidelines. Material, temperature, and gap can affect curing. Check the current data sheet and its suitability for your application.
