Processing

Clean substrate
Degrease and dry the bonding surfaces — PU is sensitive to moisture.

Insert the double cartridge
With static mixer nozzle in gun or machine — pot life is very short (seconds for PT321).

Permabond PT321: 2-component polyurethane adhesive for gap filling up to 5 mm — pot life in seconds for high-throughput applications, dual-cartridge processing with static mixer, room temperature curing. Main applications: High-throughput industrial bonding, large gap filling, structural bonding.

PU adhesives with a pot life of just a few seconds require dual-cartridge processing with a static mixer—manual mixing is not possible. The A and B components are combined in the mixer nozzle only shortly before application. Important: replace the static mixer nozzle after each application, otherwise the adhesive will cure in the nozzle. Machine processing is recommended for high-volume production.

Store in the unopened original container in a dry, cool place — Permabond adhesives typically between +5 and +25 °C, exact values see TDS. Consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use. Observe the expiry date on the packaging. Store cyanoacrylates cool (ideally refrigerated) for maximum shelf life.
