Product Description
Soft, addition-curing 2K silicone for printing molds and silicone sleeves, ready to use without dilution.
BLUESIL RTV 3410 QC A&B is a two-component silicone elastomer that cures at room temperature via a polyaddition reaction, resulting in a durable, elastic material. The product is designed for soft applications, particularly the production of printing pads and silicone sleeves for preparing printing rollers in the tile industry. With a Shore A hardness of approximately 12 and low linear shrinkage, it is ready to use and requires no dilution.
Mixed in a 100:10 ratio (A:B), pot life approximately 10 minutes at 23 °C, demolding after 30 to 40 minutes. Due to the very rapid curing, Elkem recommends mixing under vacuum or with an automatic dosing machine to avoid air inclusions.

Important Notes
- Risk of inhibition: Contact with sulfur-vulcanized natural rubbers, RTV elastomers catalyzed with metal salts, PVC stabilizers, or epoxy catalysts can inhibit crosslinking. If in doubt, perform a preliminary test and use the degassing system only for this specific type of RTV.
- Store in original packaging below 40 °C for up to 12 months from the date of manufacture.
- The currently valid Elkem data sheet (TDS and SDS) is authoritative, which we will be happy to send you.
Frequently asked questions about RTV 3410 QC
Practical application and design questions, answered by SILITECH.
Mix 100 parts of component A to 10 parts of component B, remixing each before use.
At 23 °C, it takes about 30 to 40 minutes; the pot life is about 10 minutes.
Shore A approximately 12, measured on a 6 mm thick test specimen after 24 h at 23 °C.
This is usually not necessary when pouring into the mold.
