SILISIL DEADNER — Additive (DEADNER / DELAYER)
SILISIL DEADNER is an additive for 2K addition silicones from the SILISIL product line. The additives are incorporated into the A component in small doses and selectively modify the curing kinetics or final hardness of the silicone system.

Processing and Mixing

- Before processing, stir both components individually and then mix thoroughly in the specified ratio
- Degassing under vacuum (30–50 mbar) eliminates air inclusions and improves surface quality
- Processing ideally at 23 °C and 40–60 % relative humidity
- Contamination by sulfur, amines, tin catalysts, or PVC must be avoided in platinum-crosslinked systems — they prevent curing
Storage and Shelf Life
- Store in unopened original container at 5–25 °C, dry and protected from direct sunlight
- Shelf life from the manufacturing date specified in the TDS — typically 12–24 months
- After opening, reseal carefully
