SILISIL Vaseline-Trennpaste weiss is a silicone paste from the SILISIL product line — a highly viscous, non-slumping silicone preparation for lubrication, sealing, and formulation tasks in industry, electronics, and medical technology.

Processing and Mixing

- Degassing under vacuum (30–50 mbar) eliminates air inclusions and improves surface quality
- Processing ideally at 23 °C and 40–60 % relative humidity
- Contamination by sulfur, amines, tin catalysts, or PVC must be avoided in platinum-crosslinked systems — they prevent curing
Storage and Shelf Life
- Store in unopened original container at 5–25 °C, dry and protected from direct sunlight
- Shelf life from the manufacturing date specified in the TDS — typically 12–24 months
- After opening, reseal carefully
