- Non-toxic: No hazardous components or solvents
- Odorless: No unpleasant smell
- Safe: No toxic emissions into the atmosphere
Special features
The special formulation of Acrystal® Prima ensures good surface hardness with reduced fracture susceptibility. Molded parts made from Acrystal® can be demolded and machined after just 40–90 minutes. Acrystal® Prima allows for the quick and precise production of cost-effective molds. The surface can be made glossy and weather-resistant by applying a coat of Acrystal® Finish. Acrystal® Prima adheres very well to polystyrene and other rigid foams, enabling the production of lightweight and transportable components. By incorporating a few layers of Acrystal® quadraxial fabric, pressure-resistant, walkable surfaces are achieved.
processing
- Mixing: Stir "Basic Crystal" powder into "Acrystal Prima" liquid (mixing ratio: 1 part resin to 2.5 parts powder).
- Application procedure:
- Pouring: Pour into a silicone mold using the usual venting methods.
- Laminating: Apply using a brush or spatula and, if necessary, incorporate fiberglass mesh.
- Syringes: Apply using a cup gun.
Important: For outdoor use, the finished product must be protected with "Acrystal Finish" or with a coat of paint or varnish.
