BLUESIL Paste 4
Protection and insulation of electrical switchgear at extreme temperatures (aviation), sealing of electric motors, protection of relays, cable connections and battery terminals, static lubrication of small systems.
BLUESIL Paste 4 is a silicone paste based on polydimethylsiloxane oil with inert fillers, designed for the protection and insulation of electrical equipment even at extreme temperatures from -40 to +200 °C. Typical applications include the protection of electrical and electronic components in aviation, the sealing of electric motors, the protection of relays, cable connections and battery terminals, as well as the static lubrication of small systems. The paste is hydrophobic, chemically inert, highly dielectric, and meets MIL and NATO standards.

Frequently Asked Questions about Paste 4
Practical application and design questions — answered by SILITECH.
Bluesil Paste 4: Universal silicone paste from the Bluesil range for diverse industrial applications — lubrication, heat transfer, vacuum sealing, corrosion protection. Main applications: industrial lubrication, vacuum sealing, corrosion protection.
Apply to clean, dry surfaces — degrease beforehand if necessary. Application with brush, spatula, or paste gun. For thermal pastes, apply thinly and evenly — excessive layer thickness reduces thermal conductivity. Pastes can be diluted with aliphatic or chlorinated solvents if thin layers are required.
Store in the unopened original container in a dry, cool place — typically standard between +5 and +30 °C, exact values see TDS. Consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use. Observe the expiration date on the packaging — Elkem guarantees the sales specifications only up to the stated date.
