Elkem's CAF 33 is an acetic acid-curing, non-sagging, one-component silicone rubber, shown here in black. It was developed for bonding and sealing applications in industry: in-situ seals and sunroof bonding in automotive manufacturing, oven door and vat seals in household appliances, bonding in the aerospace industry, and sealing of mold boxes, pumps, turbines, and compressors. CAF 33 is heat-resistant, chemical-resistant, water- and moisture-resistant, adheres to numerous substrates, and can be applied manually or automatically.
