Silicone pastes and silicone greases. Lubrication, sealing and protection

Silicone pastes and silicone greases are silicone oil-based lubricants with mineral or PTFE thickeners. They are largely chemically inert, compatible with many plastics, rubber types, and metals, and, depending on the product, cover temperature ranges from -60 °C to +250 °C (according to the technical data sheet).

Typical areas of application

O-rings and seals: Assembly aid and long-term lubrication in hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing. Valves and fittings: Friction reduction and smooth operation. Electrical contacts: Protection against moisture and corrosion. Food-grade applications: NSF H1-registered variants available depending on the product; documentation available upon request.

What matters when making your selection

Key factors include temperature range, media contact, material pairing (plastic, elastomer, metal), and the desired residue behavior. We will jointly verify compatibility with the specific sealing material using the technical data sheets.
