LOCTITE® EA 3425 is a high-impact, moisture-resistant epoxy structural adhesive with an exceptionally high shear strength of 27 N/mm². It has a white-yellow color when mixed. Its thixotropic properties allow for easy application and minimize runoff. It is ideal for gap filling (up to 3 mm) and suitable for use on vertical surfaces. It is typically used in short-cycle production applications for bonding surface-mounted (SPM) and internal permanent magnets (IPM). LOCTITE EA 3425 cures at room temperature or under heat or induction and offers a high modulus and good chemical resistance.
