PERMABOND MH052 is an anaerobic thread sealant for pipe and fitting threads. The following information is taken from the manufacturer's data sheet, revision 9, dated March 30, 2026.
Manufacturer's technical specifications
- Natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas: Working pressure up to 20 bar.
- Gaseous oxygen: up to 10 bar at 60 °C under the conditions specified in the data sheet.
- Maximum thread size M56 and maximum gap filling 0.5 mm.
- Guideline values for M10 steel at 23 °C: Handling strength after 15 minutes, functional strength after 1 to 3 hours and full strength after 24 hours.
These values are manufacturer's guidelines. Material, temperature, and gap can affect curing. Check the current data sheet and its suitability for your application.
