Thread sealant. Pressure-tight pipe and thread connections

Thread sealant seals metallic pipe and fine threads against oils, gases, water, and many chemicals; resistance to the specific medium is product-specific and documented in the technical data sheet. Our range includes anaerobic and PTFE-containing systems from Permabond and Loctite, as a process-reliable alternative to PTFE tape and hemp.

Liquid sealants instead of tape and hemp

Liquid thread sealants fill the entire thread profile, do not twist during adjustment, and additionally secure the connection against self-loosening. Anaerobic systems cure in the thread under exclusion of air; PTFE-containing pastes remain adjustable and facilitate disassembly.

What matters when selecting

Medium and temperature, operating pressure, thread size and material, desired disassembly capability, and time until pressure application. Approvals for gas, drinking water, or oxygen are product-specific and must be verified according to manufacturer documentation; we provide the documents.
