SILISIL RTV MF-Flex 28 Part B is a two-component addition silicone rubber from the SILISIL Moulding-Flex range. Its platinum-curing formula delivers a low-shrinkage mold with excellent detail reproduction, high tear strength, and long mold life—the standard solution for professional mold making.
The Shore A hardness of 28 positions the product in the range of soft silicones (flexible shapes, skin simulation).

Processing and mixing
- The exact mixing ratio, pot life and demolding time can be found in the technical data sheet (TDS) on this product page
- Before processing, stir both components separately and then mix thoroughly in the specified ratio
- Degassing under vacuum (30–50 mbar) eliminates air inclusions and improves surface quality
- Ideally, processing should take place at 23 °C and 40–60% relative humidity
- Contamination by sulfur, amines, tin catalysts or PVC must be avoided in platinum-crosslinked systems — they prevent curing
Storage and shelf life
- Store in unopened original packaging at 5–25 °C, in a dry place and protected from sunlight
- Shelf life from date of manufacture as stated in the TDS — typically 12–24 months
- Carefully reseal after opening
